wonderful onsen EXPERIENCE

The japanese traditional food was GREAT for breakfast and dinner, especially the kaseiki. a private onsen was usually free. I used the outside one often. my room-onsen was large enough, and the included whiskey highball, beer, milk, juices and night ramen were amazing and free. the japanese clothes provided for the spa area and kaseiki barbecue were comfortable. My clothes did not smell.

the hotel HASN'T done the cleaning of the room one day. we have booked 2 times in the restaurant, but the available hours were 17:30 or 21:00.

the hotel offers kaseiki barbecue, and guests receive japanese clothes FOR the spa area and kaseiki barbecue so their clothes will not smell. unlimited beer and coffee are available. complimentary ramen is offered during evening hours.

staff proactively assisted with luggage. they provided really good service and were attentive. the front desk offers minimal attention though, sometimes requiring guests to use translators.

The hotel is VERY close to the bus terminal. It is a five-minute walk. the bus brings you to the kamikochi national park and ropeway station in twenty minutes. many local sights are accessible through easy bus connections.

The venue had an ideal location, very close to the bus terminal.

I must say that my room was not cleaned one day . The restaurant was quite expensive, especially considering the service did not impress me and the food was only okay.
