awesome holiday! super place!
gated compound safe area nearby falls tesco supermarket
i found the gated compound situated in a great location! i loved that the surrounding area felt safe for families! my children enjoyed the nearby falls, just a short 20-minute drive away! plus, the 19-minute drive to tesco supermarket in lockerbie was super convenient!
the shop hours at reception were too short! i needed some milk!

i found the self-catering cooking facility good with its oven, grill, toaster, microwave, fridge, and freezer! the on-site cafe offered nice coffee! plus, the bar area was good with a great female singer on saturday night!

the hotel features a lovely walk around the lake with wildlife to appreciate! good space is available for dog walking! the lovely little nearby town offers good shops and places to eat or drink plus a nice walk!

the caravan had all the necessary equipment. a deck provided space to sit outside. a woodland walk was accessible directly from the door. the main street was only a short drive away.

a romantic getaway.
clean mobile home nearby village fine views
I enjoyed the clean, comfortable mobile home, brand new, it seemed. the nearby village pub offered a pleasant atmosphere. the wider area boasts fine views. An overlooked gem, it is. we loved the walk around the woods straight from the door.
I noticed there were no washing machines or dryers on site. this requires attention. The nearest is in the car park. it is generally very busy. The site should look into doing this.

the staff was super cute and very helpful. it's really important because we had some issues with the heating, but it was fixed immediately.

the hotel was fully equipped with everything we needed, it really was like home. we had a lovely deck to sit out on, where we enjoyed many breakfasts. the caravan was neat with beautiful furnishings, we loved the decoration.

The park is close to the village for the shopping you might need. We bought local products! it's also close to the motorway for further traveling, that was very convenient. the pond that is great for walking dogs!

mixed feelings about the stay
playground refurbishment early closure
the park is close to the village for shopping needs and near the motorway for further travel.
The children's playground was not open. It was undergoing a refurbishment . the bar and diner was closed one night because of staff illness. the shop on site closed earlier than expected, which caused inconvenience.

parking lot location missing terrace
Our mobile home sat right on a parking lot. this meant we saw a lot of cars. i missed having any greenery or trees around. also, our unit lacked a proper terrace. i paid the same price as my brother, but his had a terrace. It seemed unfair. finally, the bathroom needed hooks. Hanging towels was tricky.

super clean caravan doggy gift
The caravan was super clean and had new fixtures. Staff were very friendly, and I especially loved the doggy gift box (so thoughtful!).
