I appreciated the helpful staff and the hotel's personalized approach. the breakfast was excellent. i also enjoyed the hotel surroundings and found the location very convenient. It was easy to access local attractions.
the room i stayed in felt somewhat outdated. the bed was a bit small. this negatively impacted my sleep quality .

I found the shower controls stiff. This made adjusting the water temperature difficult. The water flow was also poor, hindering a proper wash. I consider it petty to charge extra for a cooked breakfast given the already high room rates. This inclusion should be standard.

The food was just awful. my cheese sandwich from the bar was on packaged brown bread, its of the cheapest quality. sliced cheese came from a packet. i asked for grapefruit juice. None was available.

The staff helped us store our bikes securely, a very kind offer. I swam at the Carey Manor Spa. It was free. The hotel booked a lane for me. Breakfast outside in the garden was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was nice!!!
