Really good Stay , Nice Dining

I found the Christmas menu to be superb , representing good value. Excellent wines and champagne from the extensive wine list complemented the meal. Staff accommodated an extra guest on the night, addressing an administrative error promptly. The prawn starter was excellent , and the beef was cooked to perfection.
The stairs to the room were steep , which presented a challenge. This could be an issue with mobility concerns.

my recent visit was great. the christmas menu was amazing and such good value! the wine list was extensive, and everything flowed smoothly. the team accommodated an extra guest without a problem, a lovely touch, i would say.
the closing policy between 3-6 pm created an inconvenient arrival. i had to find alternative refreshments during that time.

the location is perfect for exploring! i had a lovely view of the village, and it's close to bristol. it also gives a feel of country life and a little bit of the english side.

The pub felt homely with its nice decor. I really enjoyed that. there were log fires that added a warm touch, and the atmosphere was amazing! the hotel was well kept, antique meets modern.

My stay included a good dinner, with a chicken burger and fish and chips. Fresh bread and butter were provided. The drinks selection was excellent , offering perfect pairings for the meal. I found the rooms to be tastefully decorated and comfortable for restful sleep.
The mugs in my room did not fit into the coffee machine properly.

The menu featured both a la carte options and great Sunday lunches. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. The staff were able to find me a table for an evening meal , even at the busiest times.

Staff members were helpful , friendly, and cute. Maisy. Staff anticipated and met every request with warmth and care. Innkeepers provided great advice enhancing my visit to this part of the country.

the room was fairly comfortable.
The stairs were quite steep and twisting. This made access difficult. there was also very little storage space in the room. the breakfast consisted of a cereal bar and a cold sausage bap, i found this disappointing.
