coffee machineclean room
the room was quite clean (i really noticed that). it had traditional decor, a kettle, and a coffee machine. tea and coffee were replenished daily.
the room i was given was a bit small.

The room was fine. It looked even better than the photos I had seen (a rare and welcome surprise). The location was ideal with easy access to public transport. A main street with many shops and restaurants was very close by.
I had a small room. There were no kitchen facilities at all, so warming up food was impossible. There was also no wardrobe for clothes. The fridge in my room did not get cold enough, and this led to food spoiling.

a gem of a stay!
vintage charmmodernized facilitycomfortable bed
I found such a beautiful decoration. the vintage charm blended well with modernized facilities, especially the bathroom. the location was convenient with shops, pubs, and restaurants close by. I liked that a lot. the room was well-sized with a comfortable bed and a convenient en suite.
The towels were not very absorbent. Maybe a different fabric conditioner could improve this

cramped roomsmall sink
The room felt cramped. I could barely move around the bed. The bathroom sink was also quite small. I kept bumping into it when I tried to wash my face. Plus I found it odd that no staff were available to speak with before I left.
