the hotel staff was friendly. the food was really good (i especially liked the desserts). the spa was also lovely.
the rooms and furniture seemed worn. they showed visible signs of age. i encountered ants in the bathroom.

I must say I faced some issues. The minibar in the room did not work (that meant no fridge) and that was quite disappointing. I found the staff less helpful than I hoped for. They could not confirm if street parking was free on the weekend (this forced me to pay a high fee for the hotel parking).
