Acceptable stay, but needs improvement

The initial room smelled strongly of paint and was unacceptable. It took multiple calls to reception to get moved. I found available rooms online that staff claimed didn't exist. Breakfast service was disorganized. Guests had to find their own tables and queue for coffee (i never experienced that before). Smoking was allowed indoors, not typical for a five-star hotel.

Heritage and Hospitality at Its Best

The staff showed genuine kindness. I felt welcomed from arrival. The room included daily fresh towels and water, which I found thoughtful. Breakfast had a large spread with various cuisines, which suited my needs.
I think the pillows are too soft to my taste.

The team at the Kintamani Lounge accepted us with a smile. They were attentive to allergies and prepared special dishes. I was very thankful to the workers there.

The location provided easy access to Nusa Dua. It was a short walk to the area. You can use a taxi to visit other parts of Bali. I liked the location for being handy.

The Tamarind restaurant offered delicious lunches and dinners. I had a good time. Wedang Jahe offered a superb breakfast with many options. I wish I could eat breakfast there every day.

The pool area was acceptable. It was right on the beach.
Our family got sick with bali belly, frustrating, even though the staff helped with water and towels. the air conditioning leaked in the room. It made our clothes damp. we had to take taxis to get to shops since the location was far from everything.

The FOOD was fresh and affordable. The gardens were rented to each day. I reminded me of I was in paradise.
the bathroom has a really bad smell. At first it smelt like sewer. The sewer smell was gone.
