peeling wallpaper damaged wallpaper
The room had plenty of towels, appreciated.
The wallpaper was peeling outside the room door, I found this unacceptable.

quality food lovely grounds
I enjoyed the food in the restaurant, it was good quality. The grounds looked lovely. I walked around them. If I had been staying longer, I would have sat on the terrace.
The shower was not very good. I think the hotel needs updating. It looks tired.

understaffed breakfast service tired appearance
the parking was available on site and proved convenient for my vehicle it met my expectations entirely.
the breakfast service seemed understaffed staff did not appear eager unfortunately this affected the overall dining experience i also found the room needing updates the tired appearance detracted from what could be a better stay i hope management addresses these issues promptly.

amazing staff delicious food convenient parking
the staff members were really amazing and friendly. the food tasted delicious. we found convenient parking available on the site. i also appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the provided rooms.

I tried the evening meal and really loved it. The steak and mushroom pie was delicious, hot, and tasty. the hotel restaurant provided great service. breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious too.

a decent experience
maintained grounds reasonable bar prices friendly staff missing shampoo missing iron missing refrigerator
the location and grounds were well-kept. i found the bar prices reasonable. the staff seemed friendly enough.
the room was not stocked with basic toiletries like shampoo. i did not find an iron in the room despite the presence of an ironing board. there was no refrigerator available in the room either.

faded wallpaper damaged bath
the room i booked (a standard double room) was quite disappointing. there were splatter marks on the faded wallpaper and dust on the light fittings. the bath also had some damage. it gave the room a neglected feel.
