mixed bag
non-functioning tv loud refrigeration unit
the location next to the canal was certainly interesting. the pub being right there was convenient.
The tv in the room didn't work. i reported it, but nothing happened . also, there was a really loud refrigeration unit running all night. It made it hard to sleep.

Decent but Some Issues Need Attention
broken tv rude staff
My stay had some drawbacks. The TV didn't work when I got to my room. I mentioned it to the staff, but no one fixed it . A refrigeration unit ran all night, it made sleeping difficult. The staff was unhelpful and seemed annoyed when I brought up these problems.

fantastic stay!
attentive staff spacious room modern decor comfy bed
the staff was amazing! they were super attentive. food was delicious (especially the sunday lunch before i left!). i was in a superior double room and it was very spacious. the decor was modern. the bed was so comfy!
the wifi signal was somewhat inconsistent, and i found it a bit difficult to maintain a stable connection at times, but it was not a huge deal.

The restaurant offered tasty meals. i had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. the menu included several options. The presentation was excellent and the service was fast. the dining area was clean and well-kept.

lovely and clean!
warm room nice tea
The cottage is a little gem! i found nice tea and coffee. i couldn't have asked for a nicer room. It was clean and warm.
The pub is large! the rooms are in buildings around the pub. i was woken by the large extractor from the kitchens. Closing the window didn't help much. ask for a room away from the extractor

friendly staff helpful staff inoperative television noisy fan
the room was a standard double room. it was very clean. the staff were friendly and helpful. the location was also a plus.
the television did not work. reporting it did not fix it. i found a chiller fan , made noise at night.
