Excellent Stay with Polite staff and Great Location

polite staffclean roomwalkable areacomfortable experience
The staff was courteous and attentive. I appreciated their willingness to help. The room I had was large and clean. The hotel is in a walkable area that has many options for dining and sightseeing. I look forward to staying here again (it was a comfortable experience).
The in-room coffee policy could be improved, as only one drip coffee bag per person per night was provided.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast buffet on the 17th floor offered a good variety of items. Allergens were clearly marked on all the buffet items, so that I could be sure of avoiding them. Two options were available, buffet and traditional Japanese.
Service
10/10
The concierge was very helpful and accommodating with requests I made. I was impressed by their quick response. There was a free shuttle to the train station, and this proved very useful.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel is centrally located and is close to the subway , made getting around the area simple. The location near Gion was also quite convenient. Taxis waited outside the lobby, offering a quick and easy way to get around town.
