staff were very nice, offering help at every turn, they are a real credit. the room was super clean and had all i needed! meals and breakfast tasted very good. i had a fabulous stay and totally recommend!

Excellent stay near the Pennines

The location was convenient, close to both the Pennines and attractions. My room included a very spacious layout and a large bathroom. I appreciated the covered walkway between the accommodation building and the main pub.
The shower head had some orange mould, it was not great but that was the only problem in the room.

I enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the porridge, it was very tasty and filling to start the day. Dinner offered several appealing options, including steaks and other main courses. All the food was well prepared.

The hotel provides ample parking. This made arrival and departure easy. The separate accommodation building allowed for a quiet stay. Noise from the pub was minimal, which helped me relax
