I enjoyed my time in the montana pullman carriage. It was fine. the lounge was a good spot for reading about the pullmans history, especially discovering a connection to where i live. dinner in the princess ena dining carriage was like stepping onto the orient express with its decor and service. It was an experience.
I noticed strict check-in and check-out times were emphasized pre-arrival. It felt a bit off-putting, as if guests were a slight inconvenience

The hotel is near the badgers pub. It is only a short walk down the road. petworth house grounds are also easily accessible from the hotel. Both are convenient.

I enjoyed excellent vegan fare. The dining room displayed real effort with great service and ambience. Breakfast was tasty too! I felt very treated. I had an amazing stay.
This led to issues with cancellation policies. I found the discrepancy upsetting.

The Beef Wellington tasted wonderful. I especially liked the good-sized portion. The staff was helpful. The 1906 Pullman car was exquisitely restored.
I found the lack of blackout curtains a slight problem. Early morning light came through the shutters.
