Really good Stay, Meticulous Design and Excellent Service

birdie and the boys were kind, polite and helpful, going beyond expectations. the food was very good, and the hotel is both very cool and comfortable. my room was excellent , with a really comfortable bed and pillows , and a lovely mosquito net. my only comment would be that a wall mounted magnifying mirror with good lighting to do makeup would be a good addition.

for us the location was too far from everything.

the breakfast offered a diverse selection of local fruits and pastries, all FRESHLY prepared. coffee and tea were available throughout the morning , alongside a selection of juices. i noted the attentive service during each meal.

the staff were helpful. the hotel interiors and pool were well maintained and clean.

the lack of soundproofing was a problem. i could clearly hear conversations and noise from adjacent rooms, disrupting my sleep. the limited menu options became repetitive after a few days. the gym was also quite small with outdated equipment.

i found a hotel was near the fort. rooms are clean, also services are nice. it has a relaxing environment i like. antique additions make it unique. i recomend stay here if you want quiet.

for me, it was distant from many things. that means we need expensive tuktuks. if you eat out, shop, or go to beach, its extra expense.

The location was a bit out of the way. This meant relying on tuk-tuks for transport (I was hoping to walk more). The room lacked a refrigerator and a television (a bit basic, I thought).
