Really good Golf and Comfort
modern appliancespacious balconysuperb food
I found the room very spacious. It featured a kitchenette equipped with modern appliances. a roomy balcony was a plus. the food at the nearby clubhouse was superb. the staff booked some great wine tasting experiences for us.
the carpet in the room had a slight smell. i think the hotel need to improve on customer service and do maintenance on their carpets.

the location is near vineyards and the countryside of the western cape. franschoek town is also accessible. views of the surrounding mountains were amazing.

the breakfast restaurant is next to the pool. the hotel restaurant provided great lunch options. the bistro restaurant had perfect service and delicious cuisine.

i loved the sports facilities associated with the room. facilities available for members of the exclusive golf club are available. the golf course is excellent with amazing views. i found the gym very good.

Golf Estate Stay

The room was spacious, providing ample space for relaxation. I appreciated the included plunger coffee, a welcome amenity. Large bottles of soap, shampoo, and body lotion were available, a NICE touch. Soft, fluffy towels added to the comfort.
The security process at the main gate was somewhat slow. Each entry required a complete re-scanning process.

Service at Back's restaurant was good. Mark took great care of us. The restaurant offered a good selection of meals, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I enjoyed the overall dining experience there.

I enjoyed the golf course's proximity a lot. The on-site restaurants were very good if one did not want to travel outside the estate. The golf course itself was really good (I played a round every day!).
The restaurant staff seemed slow and not well-trained. This was true even when the restaurant was empty. More luggage storage space in the rooms is needed. The design of the storage space does not make much sense (in my opinion).

our room was a one bedroom suite golf view. it had a nice view of the golf course (i appreciated the scenery). i found the cleaning service very good. the amenities in the room were also very good.
the food at the restaurant was average. one security staff member treated us badly at the main gate (this was a bit upsetting). the staff did not have the list of guests checking in, so i experienced rudeness. her colleague needed to assist because my license was in the room.
