mildew smell weak shower pressure
breakfast was acceptable (i especially liked the toast).
The room smelled strongly of mildew. the shower pressure was very weak. It made rinsing off soap difficult. also, i found a spider web in the corner of the ceiling in my room.

garden access convenient parking easy access
The Tosca room had direct garden access. The room included a terrace and provided easy access for my dog. Parking was convenient and close to the building.

a heartfelt stay
chef consideration clean room deep bath comfortable bed
i got a call asking about my arrival time and if i wanted the chef to wait so i could have a meal. it was very thoughtful. every detail in the well decorated room felt so cozy and clean. i loved the deep bath and how comfortable the bed was.
The door key was a little fiddly. Opening the door took some effort.

The inn is close to several attractions. Bath and stonehenge are easily accessible. the english garden and outside dining area are wonderful. i found the setting quiet and romantic.

the luxury garden room offered a private terrace perfect for quiet mornings i savored biscuits and coffee provided in the room each day the breakfast was wonderful with fresh selections a warm dinner concluded each day beautifully
the door key required some patience making entry a bit challenging it needed some extra wiggle

nice choice friendly staff
my family and i stayed in four rooms. everyone felt happy and the rooms felt comfortable. breakfast offered a nice choice. every option tasted delicious, staff was efficient and felt friendly.
the bathroom had a high bath. it also had a curtain. some furnishings i saw were old. they did not match my tastes.
