an okay stay

clean bedroom good value dated entrance steep stairs
the bedroom was clean and the bathroom was super clean. breakfast was good and it was good value.
the entrance to the hotel felt dated. there was a noticeable smell of stale cigarettes. the stairs were steep and it would be difficult with heavier luggage. the room itself could do with some updating.

The room was very clean. The separate bathroom was also clean. I had a great view of the Cornish coast from the bedroom (even with the clouds!).

great breakfast helpful staff small bathroom dated decor
The breakfast was fantastic (i especially loved the english breakfast!), it really fueled my morning. the location was also a plus. It made getting around super easy. the staff were helpful, always ready with useful advice.
the bathroom, though clean, felt a bit small. my room was located near the entrance, and i experienced some noise during peak hours. the decor could use some refreshing to bring it up to date.
