riverside relaxation redefined
great service lovely staff amazing location
Ivaldina provided great service. She was super cool. the meal was great. the staff was cute and lovely. the location on the douro river's edge is amazing.
The breakfast room management feels insufficient. I had to find, clean and set my own table.

the breakfast has everything and it is so amazing!!! prosecco, hot foods and fresh orange juice were available. speciality coffee is also available on request at breakfast, ensuring a personalized start to the day.

the room was spacious and decorated nicely. the glass wall of the shower is a really special design element. the double or twin room river view has an excellent view.

small gym long wait times
I was pretty annoyed by a couple of things . the gym was surprisingly small with limited equipment. I expected more from a hotel of this caliber. plus, the wait times for the shuttle to the city center were ridiculously long, sometimes over 45 minutes (i almost missed my dinner reservation!).

i stayed in a double or twin room river view. the room included a coffee machine. the breakfast had a really good range and good customer service!!!
The hotel seemed understaffed. It took a long time to get a drink.

excellent riverside stay
indoor pool river view breakfast buffet riverside path
the hotel provided a wonderful experience for my family the indoor pool access was convenient for my children to practise their swimming skills after lessons we enjoyed the outdoor pool with calming douro river views our room overlooked the river offering views of passing jet skis ferries and boats the breakfast buffet was delicious with assistance for omelette orders. a riverside path leads to a playground gym and jewellery museum.
the air conditioning turns off when you go to the balcony so i had to call reception daily to reset it that was a very minor inconvenience though

the staff was cute and helpful throughout the stay the reception and cleaning staff responded quickly to requests. front desk employees provided quick assistance. i received very polite and helpful service .

the room included a balcony overlooking the river the decor was tasteful with artistic details the room was quiet ensuring a good night's sleep. there was comfortable bed and a clean bathroom.

excellent riverside stay
helpful staff river view clean room
I found the staff very helpful and friendly. sofia fonseca was particularly attentive in the restaurant. the views from my room were fabulous. It was worth securing a river view for my stay. the room was clean and well-kept.
the air conditioning in the room seemed to be centrally controlled. i would have preferred more direct control over the temperature to ensure optimal comfort (especially during warmer days).

The hotel features a nice pool overlooking the douro river. the marina is right next to the hotel. It makes it convenient to catch a yacht trip if you are inclined. the hotel has good access to the riverside path.

David and jorge were really good at check-in and throughout my stay. david corrected a mistake on my part with the reservation. jorge and david were always available. They ensured my needs were always met, which i appreciated.
