the hotel provided a wonderful experience for my family the indoor pool access was convenient for my children to practise their swimming skills after lessons we enjoyed the outdoor pool with calming douro river views our room overlooked the river offering views of passing jet skis ferries and boats the breakfast buffet was delicious with assistance for omelette orders. a riverside path leads to a playground gym and jewellery museum.

the air conditioning turns off when you go to the balcony so i had to call reception daily to reset it that was a very minor inconvenience though

the breakfast buffet offered various options and omelettes were prepared to order the restaurant featured a dinner buffet. a bar provided drinks and snacks. the quality and variety of the buffet was superb.

the staff was cute and helpful throughout the stay the reception and cleaning staff responded quickly to requests. front desk employees provided quick assistance. i received very polite and helpful service .

the room included a balcony overlooking the river the decor was tasteful with artistic details the room was quiet ensuring a good night's sleep. there was comfortable bed and a clean bathroom.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly. sofia fonseca was particularly attentive in the restaurant. the views from my room were fabulous. It was worth securing a river view for my stay. the room was clean and well kept.

the air conditioning in the room seemed to be centrally controlled. i would have preferred more direct control over the temperature to ensure optimal comfort (especially during warmer days).

The hotel features a nice pool overlooking the douro river. the marina is right next to the hotel. It makes it convenient to catch a yacht trip if you are inclined. the hotel has good access to the riverside path.

David and jorge were really good at check-in and throughout my stay. david corrected a mistake on my part with the reservation. jorge and david were always available. They ensured my needs were always met, which i appreciated.
