the food at the bar was great with big portions. location near the loch was an added bonus.

amazing locationwarm welcomeunfriendly reception
I appreciated the amazing location, in the heart of the forest and very close to the loch shore. It Was accessible by bus. The staff extended a warm welcome, and the SMALL cabane offered A cozy retreat, even though i stayed a short time.
the women at the bar during check-in were unfriendly! After already paying, they asked me to pay again, then double-checked 15 minutes later, it was a mood killer to begin the stay. I would have appreciated a warmer welcome.

The restaurant offers Great food, that has a homely and family feeling about the place. The bar is perfect and very reasonably priced and all staff were great with children. I enjoyed the GREAT atmosphere in the bar and cafe.

The pod included a fridge and a microwave. These came in handy. The other building contains washing facilities for all guests to use. I loved the use of the sauna, it Was a great way to start the day.

The location is wonderful, with beautiful walks in a Very beautiful location. Loch Morlich is just a few minutes walk away from the accommodation. There is a bus stop nearby, so transport is not a problem.

the pine marten bar provided a wide choice of breakfast options, priced reasonably.
the pods are small. i would say that they are ok for one or two people. there is no running water in the pods. there are also no toilet facilities inside them.

The location allowed easy access to activities , including walks near the loch. my pod included a fridge and microwave , a definite plus for convenience. i also appreciated the on-site washing facilities . Though i did not use it , i noted the sauna for future visits.
dinner service seemed disorganized. a reservation system or time limits might improve this , especially staying on-site. we ended up having to drive elsewhere , costing extra time and money.

The location is super convenient. There are wonderful walks in the area, and it's close to a bus stop. That's important. The pod even had a fridge and microwave, I loved that. The other building contains washing facilities. That is a plus.
The pods are quite small. I think they are okay for one or two people. I also want to mention there is no running water in the pods. There are no toilet facilities either. That was not ideal. The toilet and shower block requires a short walk.
