acceptable stay with a caveat
lovely stafflimited menu
the staff were lovely and very friendly they went out of their way to help.
i relied on the description i saw it mentioned small plates but it turned out small plates are available only on friday and saturday this was disappointing because i had different expectations.

the staff was very friendly and cute. they provided doggie snacks and the open fire was nice (i enjoyed a hot chocolate).
the sunday dinner offered a limited choice and the carvery food was kept warm too long. also, i had to pay before eating dinner.

the hotel staff was cute, they handled luggage with great care. i found the room perfect, and the quality of the bedding felt luxurious. i enjoyed sitting near the fire in the comfortable armchairs after shopping. the food was sensational, and the service was very attentive.
the live music created noise and it reached upstairs, that was a slight issue.
