excellent food friendly staff quiet location round mirror broken clock green light
The food tasted very good. Staff members were friendly and helpful . The location was quiet, and the traditional pub setting suited me.
My room had a peculiar large round mirror (I found it rather odd). There was also a clock that did not work at all. I noticed a green light above the door all night and it lit up the bedroom.

the location was acceptable. the building was cozy.
the bathroom emitted a very unpleasant odour that permeated the bedroom. i was not informed this room allowed pets. i would have had an issue if i had allergies

helpful staff clean room delicious food
I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. They really accommodated all my requests. the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. the breakfast was superb. The food was always fresh and delicious.
The bathroom had a noticeable odor that unfortunately made its way into the bedroom. I think a more effective ventilation system is required

The king room had daily housekeeping. It was lovely, clean, and tidy. plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits were supplied. the private patio had great views. the bed was very comfortable.

the cooked breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and warm pastries. fresh bread was available. the main dinner menu had many options. the bar served a good selection of beer, wine and spirits.

i stayed in a family room . the staff were helpful and friendly. the food served was very good.
the receptionist seemed disinterested upon my arrival. i was shown to the room with the keys, and the breakfast times were pointed out. there was no information about the second key or late-night entry procedures (i had to figure it out).
