fantastic stay! dog heaven!

The treetops apartment was superb. i brought my two dogs for an awesome weekend. a river for swimming is a short walk away. I saw many people taking a dip! there is also a lovely park to relax in right by the river.
Parking was a little tight. Guidelines could really fix that. maybe some paint in the car park to help people to park closer to each other. would be great.

the park is very quiet. it is very close to towns and villages as well scenic attractions. staff was very friendly and available when needed.
as soon as we entered the accommodation, we could smell a strong musty smell. the bathroom was quite dirty. i not sure if it was mould or dirt, but there were also quite a few hairs in the sink. it was quite dated.

I enjoyed a River Lune 1 glamping pod. The location allowed convenient walks. The pod included adequate fittings and was clean. The area is dog friendly, I noticed many walking paths. There was also an enclosed field.
The bed was comfortable, but I found it quite thin. This is something I might change.

great stay in a convenient location

we booked the treetops 1 bedroom self catering flat dog friendly it had everything we needed the bed was super comfy there is a patio area at the side of the apartment the site has an onsite dog field for dogs to run around in off lead. i had a short walk to a river near the site it was lovely there is also a park to relax in next to the river. the site is well maintained and super clean
the doors in the treetops apartment felt drafty because they were constructed out of old wood and glass i felt this gave it the feel of a teacher's break room

The cleanliness wasn't great. i noticed quite a few cobwebs. the parking was also a bit limited. It seemed like better guidelines could help.

i was disappointed that the cleaner clearly hadn't managed to get into the hotel before we arrived there was dust under the bed the dog's tail found it i also think replacing the doors would really help they seemed like old wood and glass making the place drafty
