I had a superior double room. The shower featured excellent toiletries I used. I was actually surprised by the lovely fragrance throughout the hotel.
My room lacked a full-length mirror I needed.

great location breakfast choice fabulous shower small room unfriendly staff limited storage
the hotel has a great location. you are near shops, bars, and restaurants. breakfast had plenty of choices including hot options. the shower was fabulous in the bathroom.
the rooms are tiny. the storage is non existent, only a few hangers and shelves. i didn't find the staff particularly friendly. there was never eye contact or talking from the reception staff.

Excellent Stay in the Historic District
breakfast options cozy room helpful staff
The breakfast had great options for everyone. I stayed in a top floor room. It was quiet and cozy with a nice outward view. The staff were always accommodating and ready to assist.
Taxis could not access the street, so I had to walk a block with my suitcase. it was not ideal.

This hotel has a location very close to many attractions. It is also near shops and the Douro waterfront. The area is ideal for walking and enjoying the various sights in the historic district. The street is mostly flat, though the parking was expensive!

The rooms are very modern. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was superb and I felt very confortable, though the safe was not working.

The staff was very helpful. The reception staff were cute, friendly, and eager to help. I received a warm welcome and a diligent briefing upon arrival as the service was attentive.

The breakfast was delicious and nicely laid out. Breakfast included many choices for meat lovers and vegetarians. There are also good restaurants and shops in the historic district near the hotel.

There is a bar and a restaurant. A little patio sits out in front of the hotel. I saw some people sipping wine there. They served delicious little puffs in the lobby every day.

inadequate closet space missing towel racks
My stay had some issues. The lack of towel racks in the room made drying towels difficult. The closet space was tight and insufficient for two people. These small inconveniences detracted from the overall experience..

The hotel provided immediate access to key tourist attractions. I appreciated the well designed rooms. I found the shower particularly excellent. Breakfast included many delicious options.
My room offered limited storage space. I found only a few hangers were available.

It was close to everything I wanted to see. I found the breakfast buffet excellent. It offered a wide variety of fresh items.
I noticed the fitness room had limited equipment. Only a few machines were available.

The breakfast included many fresh options and a variety of choices. I was actually surprised by the refreshing pool area after a long day. The hotel also arranged a taxi for my early morning departure. The packed breakfast with coffee and pastries was a thoughtful touch I appreciated.
