The hotel grounds were amazing. A giant tortoise named Colombo roamed freely and seemed quite happy. I had a lovely room with a terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens! The staff greeted me cheerfully every morning, and nothing seemed too much trouble.
The wines were much overpriced. Similar bottles are available for far less in local supermarkets. the menu changed from a five-course to a three-course meal, yet the price increased. I found this a bit disappointing considering the overall cost.
