charming stay
attentive staffrefreshing fruitexcellent recommendation
the staff at the pool bar were attentive. refreshing fruit kebabs and iced drinks were served throughout the day (i really enjoyed this!). concierge staff gave many excellent recommendations. the gym featured good equipment and overlooked the pool.
the room lighting arrangements were quite complicated, and could only be controlled from one side of the bed.

the hotel is close to the airport. taxis are super cheap. the hotel is attached to a shopping mall, which has a handy supermarket to stock up on items.

the bedroom was very spacious. the room featured traditional design with a large balcony. curtains opened automatically when you opened the door, a detail , made me smile.

Options for sunbathing were good. There were areas with shade and sun. the gym has good equipment and overlooks the pool. the hotel provides easy access to the metro.

service at the hotel was really good. we opted for a club room on the 9th floor, with lots of extra benefits. the pool bar staff was attentive, providing refreshing services.

Breakfast was excellent. It had possibly the best range and quality of any hotel i have ever stayed at. free afternoon tea was offered with the club room. we got free drinks with nibbles too.

building workarbitrary rules
Honestly, my "landmark suite terrace & club lounge access including daily evening drinks & canapes" was anything but. the building work began early, i am talking before 7am. sitting on the balcony was impossible. also, the club lounge was a joke, staff acted like they never seen shorts before. Very arbitrary rules i must say.

The breakfast had a decent variety of options and met my expectations.
I encountered some significant issues as staff entered my room without any prior notice. A housekeeping staff member walked straight into my room at 10 PM while I slept. I was startled by a stranger standing at my bed and the explanation felt implausible.
