authentic vibefriendly staffconvenient shopsdim lighting
the hotel provided an authentic arabian vibe. all staff members were helpful and polite, they helped us with our luggage and with the car! the location was perfect, with shops conveniently located underneath the hotel.
The lighting in the room was very dim, also in the bathroom. The pictures in the room included people and animals, which i didn't like!

The king heritage room included authentic decor details. I loved the room details. the room had all modern amenities, though it looked historical from the outside. The room was super clean.

The hotel has a buggy service, it's very helpful to get around! the nearby sister hotel provides a swimming pool, they also offer transportation there. It is a great service. the hotel location is great.

The customer service was very attentive, this. arjun helped us with our luggage, both on arrival and departure. all the staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Their service was great.

the breakfast was decent. they had a reasonable selection of pastries and fruits.
The noise was a real problem. i could hear everything from the surrounding souk all night. It was like the walls were paper-thin. the constant chatter and activity made it hard to relax. also, the air conditioning in the room was weak, especially given the heat. I found it difficult to get comfortable.

a mixed experience
unstable shower hosebroken phone
the phone in the bathroom didn't function on most days. i reported this, but it never got fixed. the bedroom phone displayed the wrong room number and also did not work. i wanted to order room service but i could not place the order because of the phones problems.

the staff was unbelievably helpful . i thank sulaiman for checking me in early. caesar drove us around and offered restaurant ideas. staff generally demonstrates very helpful attitudes.
