a tender thai embrace
lagoon style pool tropical plants helpful staff
The hotel was beautifully designed. The lagoon-style pool and swim-up bar provided such comfort. deck chairs and tropical plants offered a sweet tropical surrounding. the staff booked a boat day to coral island for us, also they ordered taxis.
Breakfast had good options though they were sometimes a bit repetitive. I wished for a little more variety on certain days.

the breakfast included a variety of options for vegetarians. i enjoyed the veggie omelette and the noodle dishes like pad thai. there were yogurts, fruits, pastries, bread, fruit juices and hot drinks.

taxis were easy to order through the hotel staff and. they were always friendly and approachable. A real thai experience.

The room was spacious and clean with nice decor. it provided pool towels and included a mini bar with bottled water. there were also drinks for a reasonable price. The room felt tender and calm.

poor room cleaning language barrier
the breakfast offered a varied selection, acceptable for what i expected.
I found the room cleaning to be subpar. The toilet wasn't properly cleaned, a bit of a letdown. also, some guests seemed to reserve sunbeds early, a little annoying when you want to relax by the pool. it was hard to arrange things. Several staff members struggled with english.

creaky doors broken fitness room
i found the hotel rooms spacious with high ceilings. the big bath and a shower had really good water pressure, i liked it.
It took three staff members to check us in. the room's balcony, i'm sure, was a treat when the hotel was built but it's old. all the doors creaked when moved. I had to use force to open the front door. the fitness room's ac never ran. I couldn't use it.
