helpful staff excellent food great selection
the staff was really helpful. I found the food to be excellent, and the bar provided a great selection of drinks. The information about travel prepared by the hotel was particularly useful.
I was disappointed to find that there was no iron in the room. This would have been a very useful amenity.

comfy room good food friendly staff poor breakfast missing item early payment
the room was comfy. the food in the restaurant was good. the staff were very helpful and friendly. i liked that the hotel was clean. it looked like a typical marston's chain hotel.
the breakfast wasn't included. this was disappointing considering the price. the breakfast on both days was poor quality. it was missing basic continental items like fruit and yoghurt! the payment was taken nearly three days beforehand. apply, twice.

mixed feelings
tired bathroom insufficient training
the location was useful for my plans so that's something
the bathroom seemed a bit tired it needs a refresh maybe new fixtures or something like that the restaurant also had issues as my meal came with nan bread even after i ordered the gluten free option it makes you wonder about the training of the staff

odd holes cold room
The staff were friendly and efficient, a positive start to my stay.
The room was shockingly cold, even with the heating cranked all the way up! I also noticed some rather conspicuous holes in the wall. It looked like someone had been having a disagreement with their fists. It wasn't quite the relaxing atmosphere I was hoping for.
