the sea view from my room was acceptable.
the lasagna i ordered was drowned in some kind of sauce, so i returned it one evening. my husband's chips were not fresh either. i received only an apology and had to travel to brodick for a decent meal. i would not eat in the restaurant again. the meal quality was not acceptable.

quiet staylovely viewscomfortable loungewonderful view
i enjoyed a very quiet and relaxing stay. my sea view room offered lovely views and i could hear the waves. the lounge had comfortable areas where i enjoyed drinks and sea views. the short walk near the beach was easily accesible and offered more wonderful views.
the bus service is infrequent, so planning is needed for travel around the island.

the location was good for walks and exploration of the surrounding area.
The evening meals were not up to par and seemed to lack freshness. i returned my lasagna one night due to excessive sauce. my husband's chips were also not fresh. All i received was an apology, forcing us to find alternative dining in brodick.

The staff were very helpful. I found the location offered fantastic views from my sea-side room. The restaurant decor and seating were comfortable. I enjoyed the traditional, local dishes served in the restaurant.
I experienced a very slight inconvenience because the swimming pool and sauna operate on a limited schedule.
