Mediocre Stay Due to Several Issues
poor heatingunwelcoming staff
The room was not properly heated upon my arrival. It took a day to achieve even lukewarm temperatures. Staff seemed unwelcoming, almost as if I was an inconvenience. Breakfast, though mentioned online, was unavailable , posing a problem because everything local was closed for the holiday.

the hotel has a private beach, i found this a huge plus. the bar had an adorable design and offered unmatched views. all of the staff were amazing with a helpful service. they helped me get my things up the stairs and offered to lend me a life jacket for my paddle board
I noticed the stairs presented a challenge for dogs. A sherpa might have been useful

the room had clean, cozy interiors and views were very nice. the traditional decor added a charming touch, i appreciated it very much. the bed allowed us to appreciate a beautiful Scottish landscape.

the staff was friendly and accommodating. the service felt hands-off but remained helpful, which worked perfectly. i found the team cute and the owners. it was a dog-friendly place.

the setting offered fine views, amazing. the location was peaceful and quiet. it is conveniently close to benmore botanic garden. many walking trails are in the immediate area

the food was great for both dinner and breakfast, and the breakfast included some of the best views possible. there was a nice choice on the menu, and the food was very good. the pub offers the possibility of dining in the evening.

i loved the relaxed feel of the inn. the staff were really wonderful and cute. i had an amazing view of the loch from my room. i enjoyed having that (especially in the morning!).
the tv did not have an aerial connected to it. when the internet went down, there was no tv available. my partner was disappointed by this.

The lochside location is perfect.. it offered beautiful views regardless of weather. the staff was very great to all needs. we particularly appreciated the 'hare today' room. It overlooked bird feeders where wildlife gathered. we saw red squirrels and many birds.
only one coffee mug was provided in the room.

the restaurant serves sizable portions for sunday dinner. the menu includes a selection of local lagers and delicious cocktails. the food was fab, but remember to book in advance.

the room featured a comfy bed and a huge tub with views of loch eck across the street. there is a lovely bar available, where guests may purchase drinks. the hotel is wonderfully located by the loch side.
