quiet lodge with excellent amenities

friendly staffimmaculate lodgegreat walkschill out places
the lodge was very clean i found a welcome pack included washing up liquid i used the onsite restaurant several times and the vegetarian options impressed me. the reception staff gave my children bath ducks it was a nice touch i appreciated the quiet setting and saw ducks outside
the pathways need better lighting at night i used my phone light when returning to the lodge

the location provides easy access to attractions it is roughly 20 minutes from bakewell i stopped at an m&s food hall approximately 15 minutes away this made picking up essentials convenient

a few issues with the lodge

clean parkuncomfortable seatingnon-working jets
the park looked clean and tidy .
i found several issues within the lodge itself. the dishwasher ran empty and the seating was uncomfortable, with only one sofa and two hard armchairs. the jets in the hot tub did not work on the first night.

the lodge was beautifully decorated and modern. it was clean and the beds were comfortable. the staff were really friendly and cute.
the car park situation is shambolic! there's not enough parking spaces. we had to move our cars twice, a big issue. the lodge view looked out onto a grass bank.

Relaxing Getaway at Its BEST!!!

The lodge was spacious yet cozy was great. The location was GREAT. It was close to the Tissington Trail for enjoyable walks. The lodge had hooks specifically for dog leads. A dog menu included roast dinner.
The car park had too few parking spaces, it was a bit difficult to find a spot at times.

the lodge had everything i needed. baking with children was possible because it was that well equipped on a rainy afternoon. lodges are located in a peaceful, calm area. the staff was helpful when i asked about days out.
i noticed there was dust everywhere, on every surface, even on the kitchen tap.
