breakfast had a good selection, so that was fine.
Parking was not as advertised. I had to park on the street. the room was small, and i felt it was overpriced at over £120 per night. the bathroom needed better cleaning, with a dirty extraction fan and grime between the tiles.

liz and chris were very cute hosts and met all of our needs. they were very eager to help wherever they could and they were great people to talk to as well. the buttermere room was comfortable and nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. breakfast was delicious and the quality was consistent every single morning..
negatives are when we booked on this site it stated parking. this is incorrect. there is space for 1 car in their drive and a large van was in it. so my car was parked on the street for the duration of our stay.

the hotel is off the main road and by a little stream. it was lovely listening to the stream. the hotel is located on a quiet street, just a short walk away from the lake and ferry.

the parking situation was a bit unclear. it stated parking was available, but street parking was necessary . i wish there had been more clarity beforehand.

Breakfast had many choices and they cooked it fresh. The hosts provided helpful suggestions every day for our visit. I found the room very cozy, it was good after a long day of exploring. The place had a perfect location near the town center.
The hotel provided parking for one car only. My car needed to park on the street . It caused slight inconvenience, although I managed to find a spot each evening. More parking spots are required.
