the heating system presented daily problems (a significant inconvenience). an engineer visited daily, but the issue persisted. the manager, richard, lacked customer service skills. his rude and unsympathetic behavior detracted significantly from the experience.

the cottage was bigger than i expected with a nice decor. the river view was relaxing and both the balcony and patio area were great. the sofa bed proved comfortable enough for our needs

The provided cleaning supplies were a nice touch. The kitchen also had clear instructions for using the appliances. I found the parking clearly marked, made settling in easier. The apartment's proximity to the river and its own patio was a big plus.

The electric towel rail switch was a bit stiff.

the apartment had all essentials required for self catering. i liked that i had two bathrooms. there were lots of extra towels available.

the dolly blue bar was not open. i had daily problems with the heating. the engineer had to come out every day.

The beds seemed nice and I found them comfortable enough.

The cottage seemed smaller than the photos suggested. I suspect some tricky angles were involved. The river sound folks rave about? More like constant white noise, I thought. finding parking was like a competitive sport, and spaces seemed a bit tight.
