mixed feelings about this place
limited food service basic rooms
the bungalows had a picturesque quality and were rather private, i suppose. a free bottle of water each day existed.
The rooms felt basic. i noticed no bedside tables existed, and there was very little surface space to put anything down. food service seemed limited. There weren't many customers using restaurant. breakfast was supposedly available, but the restaurant area was deserted at 0830 hrs. Talk about feeling abandoned.

a charming riverside retreat
clean room helpful staff convenient location
I found my room well-kept and very clean. the staff helped me book taxis and provided useful local information, and the breakfast was cooked to order. I really appreciated that. the location is near restaurants and the death railway museum. It worked really well.
The bed was a bit too firm for my liking. Many places in asia are like that though.

The hotel is situated on a quiet part of the kwai river. It provides a quiet setting. it's easy to reach local restaurants and the death railway museum, that i really wanted to visit, from here.

beautiful river amazing staff comfy room
My bungalow was right over the river. It was peaceful. the staff booked a boat tour. The boat docked in front of my room. i enjoyed the multi-hour tour. the room included a remodeled bathroom and was comfy.
the manager made a lot of noise, she talked non-stop from early morning.

The staff booked taxis and trips. they provided information. staff provided an extra blanket immediately when my friend felt ill because she was shivering. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

EXCELLENT Riverfront Stay!
clean bungalow friendly staff private boat central location
I stayed in a standard bungalow and it was very clean. The room had air-conditioning, which i REALLY appreciated in the heat. The hotel sits right on the river, offering serene views. Breakfast was cooked to order (i loved that). The staff helped book taxis and provided local information. The location is great, with easy access to restaurants. I found the access to the death railway museum and cemetery simple. There were friendly dogs and cats on site. That was neat. My bungalow was literally over the river. So peaceful! The hotel arranged a private boat tour right from the hotel. This allowed me to see the area from a unique perspective. I loved the remodeled bathroom too. The location is central and had a very relaxed vibe. A cheap laundrette is around the corner and can do your laundry in one hour. The hotel is well kept and nicely landscaped. It was a GREAT place.

serene riverside retreat
excellent location unique style wooden furniture quiet road
the location was excellent. it was away from the busy road, so there was no traffic noise at all. the whole place had a great design and the wooden furniture was very nice. i really liked the unique style of the entire place.
the rooms were very basic, with no bedside tables or surface to put things. charging phones was difficult because of the lack of surfaces.

the supreme cabin was super clean and the bed felt very comfy. i appreciated the daily provision of water and toilet paper. the mattress was comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh linens.

the hotel has a nice scenic view with great river views, and gorgeous sunsets! the place is right on the river, a beautiful serene location. many attractions are easily accessible, a museum is very close.
