adequate stay, some drawbacks
poor mattress unacceptable noise
the breakfast provided a sufficient start to the day.
I found the mattress in the room to be quite substandard, with noticeable spring issues. the duvet and linen provided also seemed to lack the quality one expects. They were not up to scratch. furthermore, the noise levels were unacceptable at night.

friendly staff cute ambience beautiful walk dog welcome
I found the staff friendly. They were always ready to assist with anything I needed! The ambience was very cute. There was a beautiful 2km walk by the river. It suited my dog perfectly. My dog was welcomed here.
I found the kids meal portions a bit small. They are probably ideal for little ones, though!

The breakfast was plentiful, also freshly cooked. I arrived on a Thursday and found out it was steak night! I could not resist the temptation. Both our steaks were excellent.

The place is nicely decorated. It is well-equipped. It offers access to nearby walking routes. The facility provides a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside!

The pub has an excellent location. It is close to the mountains. This makes it very convenient for climbing. Access to the A66 is good, simplifying travel to surrounding areas.
