dangerous goat trail rocky path
the breakfast had variety, i guess. tons of fruit i didn't eat.
The path to the nearby village was a joke. it was basically a rocky, dangerous goat trail. i nearly twisted an ankle avoiding the barbed wire. Not exactly what you'd expect from a resort charging those prices.

poor hospitality difficult exploration
the pool was nice.
the hospitality and maintenance did not match what one expects from a 5-star hotel. the location felt really isolated, made exploring the island difficult.

AMAZING stay!
good food fair prices hotel activities wonderful villa
The hotel restaurants offered really good food at fair prices. I participated in the hotel activities. Yoga and Muay Thai classes were available though more frequent sessions would be better. Our villa was wonderful and VERY enjoyable.
I noticed the path to the public beach was a little rocky. It would be great if this were smoother.

The interior was beautiful and super spacious. The swimming pool was excellent and well maintained. This place is PERFECT if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food. It was lovely eating breakfast with such a fine view. Staff at the restaurant were ALL so nice. The food was AMAZING!!!

attentive staff relaxing pool diverse breakfast
I was upgraded when I arrived and everything was handled efficiently. Staff held my bags and delivered them to my room. The beach and pool offered relaxation, and food could be ordered from the lounge chair. Breakfast included many options, encompassing both western and Thai selections.

Breakfast included both western and Thai choices. The selection was huge. Dinners were served down by the beach. The food was good in all three restaurants. Room service was quick.

Staff members were responsive and helpful. Cars were available to drive guests around the hotel at any time. Staff were attentive. Staff made a soya latte each morning by request.

The gym was nice. The pool area was gorgeous and sat by the private beach. The architecture had amazing details. Every piece of wood featured carvings. Landscaping created a tropical paradise.

The location offered views across the bay. The resort is next to a town with cafes and shops. The hotel is a bit out of the village. A steep hike to a lookout is about 2 miles away.
