the restaurants staff were helpful. the guest relations team was very kind and provided helpful information regarding my wife gluten allergy and recommended options and translations when required. i liked our cleaner, ishara dilrukshi. It was always a delight returning to a lovely clean room thanks to her.
the rooms are not very soundproof.

the hotel joins directly to a shopping mall. this location is very good to shop. the buffet breakfast offered a mix of foods. i also appreciated the live music each night. beer costs approximately 1500 and wine 3000 in local currency.
the service quality does NOT always match the room quality.

slow dining servicemissing turndown service
the in-room dining service proved slow. one evening, i waited over an hour for a simple club sandwich. the promised turndown service never materialized, a detail i consider standard for a hotel of this caliber. the absence left a noticeable gap in the overall experience.

i stayed two nights after a trip. the customer service was excellent. the reception area and rooms felt very luxurious. i had an amazing view of the lake. the breakfast selection was very large and the staff were attentive. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. the pool area on the 4th floor had fine views. the hotel connects to one galle shopping centre, very convenient.
