the building felt historical, filled with lots of character. the sitting room featured original period details, including dark wood panelling.
the staff member spoke fast, making it difficult to understand everything.
the building has a wonderful historical presence, showcasing the character of 1480. the village is a heritage location, preserving its original charm. i especially enjoyed the breakfast, it was well prepared. the staff were really helpful, always available to share interesting facts about the town.

The building has great character. The guest lounge proved a huge bonus. I especially enjoyed the lamb followed by the crumble (delicious!). The garden provided a beautiful setting for a glass of wine.
Parking is not dedicated. You have to park where you can find a spot on the streets outside.

i found the hotel very historic with lovely atmosphere. the garden was wonderful for a glass of wine and a good book. the staff were great to greet me and explain timings. i had home-made cookies in the room it was a lovely touch
no beers or ales were available other than bottles. i could hear everything from the bar from my room. there was no television in the room

The building has many period features. A tranquil stream runs at the end of a lovely beer garden. The staff were great.
There was no dedicated parking. I parked on the street. The room lacked a television. I could hear noises from the bar, disturbing.
