The staff was very helpful. The spa was also lovely. The food in the restaurant was nice.
The signing was very poor and the lighting was also not great. It took me a while to find my room in the dark. The shower was only lukewarm.

The alder lodge was comfortable and well equipped. free ev charging points were available in various locations throughout the resort. This was helpful. the restaurant and bar are located in a separate area above the golf center, offering a balcony overlooking the course.

Check in was smooth and professional. staff were polite and attentive throughout the stay. they addressed our needs quickly and efficiently, our comfort. the service was consistently excellent.

The spa charged extra, a fact I discovered annoyingly late. Paying £15 per hour seemed excessive, especially since the men were golfing. There also weren't many places for hotel guests to relax outside. You mostly had to hang out at the golf clubhouse. It felt a bit limited, not the kind of leisure i expected (sigh).

the staff were so kind at reception. i liked how clean the alder lodge was. it had everything i needed, including soaps and gels. walking the grounds was also nice. the massive golf course was lovely.
i noticed very slight wear on the furniture in the lodge.
