david carried our luggage immediately. the reception lady knew everything local. stanford was helpful meeting my parents' needs. everything was good for our new year stay. it was actually our wedding night. it was a lovely hotel with great service. i am thankful.
the location is fantastic. parking in the center costs £30 per night. i paid 60 quid just to park my car for two nights. the hotel is lovely and rooms are a little aged. the public spaces are fab.

the staff always responded quickly to requests. concierge services helped with local reservations. i saw housekeeping ensuring hallways and public areas were clean. turndown service was available each evening.

i found the furniture quite old and worn. the carpet had a noticeable unpleasant smell. the floors in the room were uneven and made noise when walking.

the bed was really comfortable i slept well. the location was just what we needed for our trip.
room 431 was cold on arrival it took 10mins for heating to start. there was a draft under the door so i used a spare towel to block it.
