The welcome I received was like a warm embrace. The reception staff has a kindness I will always remember. The room shined. Its cleanliness reflected a deep sense of care. Every corner spoke of tranquility and peace.
The wardrobe in the room felt quite small. It barely held my things and my husband's. The lighting was subdued, and sometimes I longed for brighter moments. The minibar had little beverages, leaving me wanting more.

The food was really good in the restaurant I found the service to be very good.
The bed was uncomfortable I found the mattress to be old and very soft. I have not slept on many worse beds in a while it left me tired.

the staff were consistently polite and helpful throughout my visit. i particularly appreciated the excellent service in the spa, where timothy's cute demeanor stood out (he makes great drinks!).
the hotel rooms are a little tired in places.

The restaurant offers breakfast with sufficient choice. The food was tastefully presented. the bar staff were attentive, bringing drinks directly to tables (a service i found convenient). dinner in the 1907 restaurant featured a chicken and pancetta ballotine.

the reception lady was great, her name was kiera i think. the hotel offered proactive confirmation of room setup, showing great attention to detail. staff were keen to ensure i had a good time, which greatly enhanced my stay.
