Some Issues During My Stay
slippery shower disappointing food
The shower was not good, and I think it was dangerous. There was no slip mat so it was very slippery. I also felt there was little room to move. The plumbing was not great and the taps were hard to close. The food was disappointing too. The staff asked us to pay after every purchase, even though we were staying there.

The room was nicely presented. The bathroom had nice features. the staff was great and always ready to help. the pub food had good availability in the restaurant.
i needed to leave early at 8.15am, though breakfast service started at 8.30am. i would have liked to take a piece of fruit with me. the bed felt rather narrow and it affected our sleep.

totally awesome stay!
peak district location tasty foods amazing staff fluffy towels
this location rocked my world for peak district adventures, it is right off the main road. breakfast included tasty foods, also the staff? amazing! towels felt so fluffy and new, i really liked it.
the room got too warm, the windows i could not open cause the cars drove me crazy.

this location is beautiful. it is very convenient to get to the whitworth institute. the pub stands in a spot that provides easy access to many area attractions which is perfect.

the room was super clean and felt modern. the bathroom came with a fantastic shower, it felt so good after hiking. big fluffy white towels were included and that elevated the experience.

traffic noise plumbing noise
The room got too warm I could not open the windows because of traffic noise. Plumbing made a lot of noise too cold taps running late and early. Online reviews show others reported this but the hotel did nothing about it. I found this very frustrating
