some issues encountered
small tvcold room
i found the tv to be very small , and it also did not work at all. the room felt quite cold , even after i turned the radiator up to its maximum setting. this made relaxing in the room difficult , and i was a bit disappointed.

I noticed some minor cleanliness issues. There were dirty marks on the bedside table. I also saw a few cobwebs. Lighting in the room was insufficient. Showering at night was difficult due to the darkness.

the staff were really helpful in the restaurant and cafe (especially during breakfast). the breakfasts and dinners were excellent. i also found the location very convenient and easy to find with a large parking area.

the hotel is well situated and easy to find (i found it very accessible). it's close to the motorway, but it was lovely and quiet. the refurbished garden looks very smart.

i found the staff very helpful and friendly. the location suited my travel needs perfectly. the car park is big and right next to the building. there is a cafe next door which is handy for breakfast with fair prices.
there was insufficient lighting in the shower so at night it felt a little dark.
