The staff was amazing. lynn was helpful. the hotel had a family feel. i hope to return next year. breakfast and the evening meal were great. the pub was busy and enjoyable. a friendly manager kept everything efficient. the location was super. It was near the station. it was 15 minutes from my event venue.
the wifi did not work well. i was on the top floor. that was inconvenient for my work.

The staff was amazing, especially lynn, a true gem. she was helpful and created a real family feel. i had a single room with a shared bathroom. It was super clean and well stocked with toiletries.
the night i stayed it was windy. i was awoken numerous times by the door of my room rattling and banging every time a gust of wind hit the building.

the hotel provides options for dinner and is close to the railway station. i also found it convenient for visiting dunnottar castle, a walk of about an hour. the location worked very well for my travel needs.

The breakfast was home cooked and excellent. I enjoyed the option to have dinner at the hotel. the veggie breakfast that was served the following morning was very hearty. there is also a vegan menu in the bar.
