The check-in was awkward. I had to lug my bags around to find someone. The person seemed annoyed to have to check me in. She seemed preoccupied with her phone. Dinner was not great. The server tried to manage both the bar and restaurant, and sang along to different songs. The food lacked quality and the hard surfaces made the space loud.

the staff were friendly when i could find them, so that was acceptable.
The room i got was ridiculously small. It was only 4 steps wide. the tv was tiny. My microwave at home is bigger! i had an issue with the tv's cooling fan, it seemed broken, spinning constantly and impacting the volume. i asked twice for it to be sorted, but they did nothing.

I stayed in a beautiful king double twin room. It had plenty of space for two adults and two children, a VERY modern design and felt luxurious. Breakfast was included. It was excellent and offered great value for money. The staff were pretty good too fulfill my requests for vegan-friendly food, even providing oat milk and smashed avocado on toast.

my room was a good size it had a jacuzzi bath. the rooms are nice. i found the building itself lovely it has plenty of character.
the shower in my room was poor there was limited room to move. it was overly complicated and the drainage wasn't very good. the hotel felt very dated and in need of a refurb i think to bring it back to life.

The room was very large and clean, and I found the towels to be lovely. Breakfast was very good. I will be going again. The bathroom and shower were also great. I found no issues.
I found some staff very friendly. but, when you could find them. it was difficult.
