a few minor issues

prime locationspacious roomvaried choiceshockingly bad servicemissing drinkoverpriced food
the location was prime, i mean, smack dab in the middle of everything. our classic double room felt super spacious. it had a really nice view. the breakfast included was a total winner with loads of options, i felt so spoiled!
the service was shockingly bad, honestly. i am usually pretty understanding, but when i'm paying for a treat, i expect more. drinks just disappeared completely, and there wasn't even an apology from our server. the food was ok, nice enough but also overpriced, a bummer.

The location was excellent. the hotel is right off the ferry. the staff were also super friendly and helpful. the interiors had great quality and the furnishings seemed top notch. We loved the decor in our classic double room.
parking was stated on a website. i couldn't find any parking information on the hotel website. our room had an en-suite but you had two steps up with a flat section before stepping down to use the facilities.

okay experience overall

great bedlovely linenshowerwater viewslow servicehigh pricethin pizzainattentive staff
The room had a great bed and lovely linen! i also liked the shower and the separate bath. It felt luxurious. the location was awesome, right overlooking the water. i really enjoyed the sense of history within the building, it added character.
The drinks were slow to arrive even after chasing them up twice, frustrating. i found the prices quite high for the quality of food i received. Nearly £20 for a standard thin pizza seemed excessive! the staff seemed to not pay attention to customers in the garden. It took a while to get service.
