Excellent Stay at a Charming Hotel
maintained grounds really good team spacious rooms homely touch
I really enjoyed the meticulously maintained grounds. They blend seamlessly with the surrounding countryside. The team provided warm service. I also appreciated the homely touch added to the refined atmosphere (the staff was really good). I found the rooms very spacious, quiet and comfortable.
The pub dinner felt a little disappointing as it was very ordinary. It looked like the food had been kept warm for too long. The dessert seemed as if it had been made earlier.

The staff were friendly and cute at all times. They looked after us well from arrival to departure. Special thanks go to the dining room staff for their attention. Staff were great too help.

The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. There are some great walks locally. These walks go through the estate of which the hotel is a part. The hotel is within a reasonably short drive to local towns.

the room was a courtyard suite. it had garden access. the minibar selection was good and i used it. the turndown service included chocolates each evening. i like that.
the gym only had a few weights. i would like more options.

The hotel provided a cute glass of fizz upon arrival. Chocolates were also available in the room. The gardens displayed fine arrangements. The location in the village offered convenient access to local amenities.

comfortable beds luxurious toiletries welcome drink
I stayed in one of the cottages during a weekend visit. it featured very comfortable beds and luxurious toiletries. I also found a welcome drink and fresh fruit on arrival. i enjoyed a very comfortable sitting room with a fire and the hot tub, located just outside the cottage, was well-equipped. there were treats for my friend's dog, a labrador, so it felt very cute.
the pub dinner was slightly disappointing, with the food appearing to have been kept warm for too long.

The room had a well-stocked bar. I found the staff were very good. Every need was met with perfect professionalism. The food in the restaurant was good. It offered top quality and presentation. The Acorn pub also had good food. I look forward to returning for another break.

The service was very attentive. The staff looked after our family celebration very well. Staff answered all our questions. The team offered welcome drinks and a lovely bowl of fresh fruit on arrival, a wonderful touch.

I dined in the main house. The meal was excellent and worthy of a michelin star. We chose the flight of wines. This was suggested to accompany each dish. It was an excellent decision. I avoided compromising on choosing wines by the bottle.

my room was spacious. the bed was comfy with beautiful linen. the bath products were gorgeous!!!
i was surprised to be charged extra for vegetables. i was charged £70 per head for two courses.
