The staff was attentive and quick to address any request. The hotel is conveniently located, allowing easy exploration of the town. Breakfast offered a wide selection and was prepared fresh each morning. The car park was easily accessible, ensuring parking was never a concern (a real plus in a busy area).

lovely hotel stay
perfect location quiet room friendly staff
The location is superb with short walks to attractions. it includes the castle, bookshops, dining, and the river. the hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable with good parking. most importantly, the staff was excellent (niky was amazing). Friendly, cute, and very helpful.
the room and public spaces looked a little tired.

The location proved convenient for exploring the town. i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. the food was also very good. The bar and dining room were quite pleasant.
My room felt a little dated and could use some updating. i noticed some marks on the painted walls and the room felt small for a superior description. a milk delivery at 2:30am was noisy. It kept me up

Acceptable Stay with a Significant Drawback
The garden view from the room was fine.
The room was small. I felt the double bed was hardly suitable for two people, and I'm not large myself. This made for an uncomfortable night. I think the value was overpriced.

perfectly cooked eggs helpful staff central location
I enjoyed the location. It was central for exploring the area. the breakfast was lovely, with eggs cooked perfectly to my liking (especially with a runny yolk!). the staff were always helpful and had smiles that much better.
