stained curtains broken holder
the gym had plenty of machines and free weights available.
The rooms looked tired and shabby. I noticed stained curtains and carpets. the grout on tiles was missing in the bathroom, and the toilet roll holder was broken. some investment is desperately needed.

a mixed experience at this place
dirty floor inadequate cleaning
the pool facilities were quite amazing.
The room i had was not properly cleaned. I noticed dirt on the floor. i cleaned my feet in the bathtub to deal with it. this situation was unpleasant and lowered my comfort level.

slightly underwhelming stay
worn chairs car park view
the location was decent enough, with some alright countryside walks nearby.
The room was nothing to write home about, felt a bit dated actually and the chairs looked seriously worn, as if they'd seen better decades. plus, the spa area overlooks the car park. The view was of cars reversing, not exactly the zen i was hoping for.

modern room great spa untidy floor bright lights
the gym was great. i found a modern room there. i enjoyed the spa too, it was great.
the seating area near the bar looked tired. the floor in that area was also untidy. i noticed that the lights on the heaters glowed brightly.

room issues and bar incident
stained carpet missing security
we booked an executive room but were initially given a room that was quite worn. the carpet had what looked like a tea stain near the bed and the hot water did not work despite reporting it. eventually we had to move to another room later that night. our experience at the courtyard bar was also concerning as a group brought their own drinks and caused a disturbance. it required us to leave to avoid confrontation. management should have addressed the issue promptly.

wonderful wedding stay
helpful team cloud bed perfect suite
my partner and i got married in january 2025. the team was helpful through all our questions and pranks on the groom. our untraditional wedding was more than we could have imagined! the beds reminded me of clouds and our suite was perfect for our hectic morning.
the lights on the heaters glowed so brightly that the room wasn't completely dark.

the gym provides a space for workouts, with equipment including three treadmills. the pool area has twenty loungers for relaxation and shaded areas. the hotel also offers a spa for additional leisure and wellness.

excellent stay near wedding venue
perfect wedding supportive team comfortable bed
The wedding i attended was perfect. the team handled every detail, even silly requests like inflatable t-rex antics and a cheese wheel cake, they offered great support. i also slept well. The bed was like a cloud and the suite accommodated our busy morning. i am grateful to the staff for their wedding support.
the room had heater lights that glowed too brightly. this made the room not dark enough, so i woke up a few times.
