I found the location superb. It was very close to the train and cable car station.. The traditional Japanese room was very nice with its hot spring bath on the balcony. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, though the Japanese breakfast might seem strange to some.

I experienced an issue with the futon mattresses. They were very thin, and stacking two together still reminded me of sleeping directly on the floor. The staff did not seem very helpful when I asked for more mattresses to improve the sleep quality.
