great stay, friendly faces

i found the staff friendly and helpful. they were happy to restock toiletries, tea, coffee and water daily. the rooms were well equipped. free parking around the back was also very useful.
the shower was quite poor. it was over the bath, and there was no curtain or screen. the water pressure was low.

the hotel is located on st cuthbert's way. this offered me easy access to local trails. i found it a super location, within a short drive to the coast.

free parking is available at the back of the hotel. i found this option useful when the front car park was full. it gave me peace of mind knowing my car was secure.

the breakfast offered everything i could want. all items were cooked well and piping hot. i appreciated the range of drinks available and priced fairly.

The room offered a comfortable bed. I chatted with friendly locals in the pub one evening. It was a Great night. Breakfast proved quite satisfying and the staff was amiable. I would definitely stay again.
The room décor seemed somewhat dated.
